Are you in Crisis?

If you or someone you are with needs support urgently then please read below for suitable options you can consider. SR Therapy Centre is not a crisis service. I am often in clinic with clients or delivering workshops so cannot offer you support urgently if you are struggling and need help. 

If you feel that you cannot keep yourself safe such as considering suicide or self harm, are worried you may cause harm to others please read below and use the most appropriate support for your needs. Some are local services however I have included national services and services specific to men and young people. 

Mental Health Urgent Response

This is the new service developed by Lancashire South Cumbria Foundation Trust. 
Staff are on hand to help assess the problem and transfer you to the most appropriate practitioner and service.

Contact CALM

CALM is the leading movement against male suicide, you can call them from 5pm to midnight, 365 days a year on

Wellbeing Helpline & Texting Service

Available Monday to Friday 7pm – 11pm and Saturday to Sunday 12pm – Midnight staffed by volunteers and those with lived experience, that offers emotional support, ring if you want to chat about your mental health or are lonely. It can be contacted on 0800 915 4640 or by texting 'Hello' to 07860 022846

Contact Papyrus

Papyrus is the UK charity for prevention of young suicide. They are open 9am to 10pm weekdays and 2pm to 10pm weekends and bank holidays.

You can contact their HOPELINEUK on 0800 068 4141.

Mental Health Access Line

This 24 hour access line is available 7 days a week. If you, or someone you support, are unwell, you can access the line by calling the NHS non-emergency services on 111.

If in Immediate Risk

If you, or the person you are with, is at immediate risk of taking their own life go to your nearest A&E or call 999.
